Healthcare Assistants Needed for the Radiology Department in Östersund

At the Radiology Department in Östersund, we work closely with radiologists, radiology nurses, nursing assistants, biomedical engineers, physicists, sonographers, and medical secretaries. We conduct examinations using conventional X-ray, mammography, CT, ultrasound, MRI, and interventions. Östersund Hospital is a complete and well-equipped hospital with high competence in both medical specialties and nursing. It is the only hospital in Jämtland Härjedalen, which facilitates close collaboration between different specialties and offers a varied work environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The role involves supporting and assisting radiology nurses and doctors during examinations, as well as other tasks that occur in a radiology department, such as administrative work in our patient and image processing system. To help new employees integrate into the work environment, we offer a tailored onboarding process. We have schedules with long notice periods so that you know your work schedule in advance. We use Sectra's RIS/PACS, which is our patient information system for reports and images.

We are currently looking for two nursing assistants or care assistants for the summer vacation period of 2025.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a trained nursing assistant or currently enrolled in a healthcare program. If you are a medical or nursing student, we would like you to have completed the IV training component of your education. Previous experience working in a radiology department is an advantage. We place great importance on personal suitability.
